Only 10am in the morning and the poolside viewing area is filthy. Possibly bit cleaned since yesterday, there are grapes, leaves, plastic straw wrappers and general waste. Pretty disgusting

We were cautious because we read a lot of negative reviews but we actually had a great time and had no issues at all with cleanliness. The main pool is huge with additional shallow areas available for little ones. The water is quite cool but once you get moving around you soon get warm. Some pools have reduced the temperature to save money and to avoid the risk of complete closure. The poolside staff were attentive, humerous and professional. The slide and giant water sprays were working and monitored by staff. Reception staff were helpful with directions and information although one lady did seem very distracted by her phone.

We went to this pool for the first time the other day, AMAZING! So much fun but there are a few things that let it down… toilets! The ones before the changing room STINK!!! please have regular checks/cleans as these were awful! Showers….. pointless! The water was extremely hot and just trickled out…. Took so long to wash hair and you can’t have a proper shower here as it’s communal so you just end up covered in suds! The staff were very good but I didn’t see too many older staff… just seemed to be the younger generation… pool was incredible and the staff made it so much more fun with the sprinklers etc! They opened the slide up for a short time too so that was fab…

I've been coming here weekly for a few years thanks to kids swimming lessons the staff are usually friendly but the toilets and changing rooms are always dirty. The womans toilet has had a broken seat for about 2 years and a broken light. There was the same blood smear in the sink for 2 weeks! I have bought it to their attention but it's never any better.

My son is 4 years old. 30 minutes in the pool with Alice (swim teacher) and he is a different child in the water. What an incredible instructor. I cannot wait to bring him back.

Where do I start, awful smell as you walked in, at least 4 staff lounging about, the toilet in the ladies had water and toilet paper on the floor and stank. Booked for the grandchildren to go to the inflatables hour, only floats no inflatables and teens spoilt the fun because they were all over the place. Flume was only open for some of the hour. At one time there at least five lifeguards, not doing a lot tbh. Changing room was soaked in water, only to be expected it is a swimming pool but couldn't someone have mopped it? Advertised as having a cafe, nothing except a machine . Would never return and certainly never join the gym.

Pre covid used steam room/sauna regularly Visited 26.04.22 fot a relaxing session Cut foot on carelessly placed drip mat after showering. Mat was damaged (see below), sharp as glass Did recieve first aid But no investigation on why foot was bleeding and cut on main and second toe (now infected) Was forced to insist on staff removing damaged mat Underneath mat was a very badly maintained drain

Staff here seem to be hit and miss. Some are lovely and very helpful, whilst others are just downright rude. I brought my kids for the inflatable session and they were kept waiting for 10 minutes to actually get into the pool, whilst the thing was blown up. One staff member seemed to take great delight in telling his colleagues that he would have got everything set up by now, then walking over and blowing the air on himself, rather than providing any useful assistance. During the 10 minutes of paid session time that was wasted setting things up, several people were shouted at to get out of the water. I fully understand health and safety needing to be adhered to but the people were in a completely separate section of the pool and had already waited upwards of 5 minutes into their allotted session. Again, most of the staff were kind enough but the pool has most definitely gone down in opinion. Will most likely be looking at one of the privately owned pools next time. Shame as I've grown up coming here and always liked it. The only positive was that the kids liked the inflatable obstacle course.

So we went as a family twice to give it a fair chance. First time during lockdown and found the whole COVID process poorly thought out and considering the situation, the pool and surrounding area to be quite dirty. The changing rooms were absolutely shocking. We went again last week to see if things were different ☺️ under normal circumstances. I looked up the times online before leaving. I tried to call also but was on hold for ages and no one picked up. But figured I was just being too over cautious. Arrived with our 3 year old to be told there was no swimming until 12:30 (about 1.5hrs after) and that was adult swimming. Explained I looked online and they gave a few different reasons for it not being right....old system, old information, taken me to their sister pool elsewhere etc etc. Sat blank and expressionless and just didn't care. Obviously we won't be going back there again. So fed up with that place. As it happens we then looked up other local pools and found the most excellent place just 10 minutes up the road in Wellingborough. Wonderful pool, polite and helpful staff, immaculate building and changing rooms, cheaper as under 5s go free and a nice warm pool. Our daughter loved it and that's our new go to place for sure.
