We came along for an appt today. We were greeted at 11am by 2 smiling friendly faces - Sue & Karen. My 84 year old Mum had wanted 'normal' shoes for ages and despite trying a few specialist shoe shops, she hadn't found any that were a comfy fit and looked good. She has severe odema in both legs due to Lymphodema and Lipodema. This was a 66 mile round trip for us so we were hoping she would find the perfect shoes. My mum had her feet measured and then we browsed the many pairs of shoes, boots, sandals and trainers. The fitting ladies were attentive, very professional and clearly knew the brand and their stock. They also took my mum's health issues into consideration and helped her when needed to move around. We were in the shop an hour which was long enough to try on shoes at a comfortable pace for my Mum. The ladies gave some assistance but held back to allow my mum to try the shoes herself and ensure she could take them on and off etc easily. My mum was thrilled to wear normal looking shoes as she called them, that were also comfy and made her feet look nice and feel nice. She bought 2 pairs and has planned to come back in the Spring for sandals. Whilst there, a lady came along who had been referred by her podiatrist. She didn't have an appt but as the shop was open and we were fine with one fitter, the other helped fit her shoes and choose some suitable styles. The lady, like my mum, was thrilled to have found such comfortable and pretty shoes. I can't thank Sue and Karen enough for their kindness, patience, experience and knowledge. We will see you in a few months and as promised, we will bring cake & biscuits. Keep up the great work ladies. Having good shoes is life changing for so many people and you helped 2 find just the rights shoes for them today!

The 2 ladies who measured my feet and helped my find the right shoes were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and they found me the most comfortable shoes I have ever had,

Appointment only. This is not mentioned on the Fb page or the email circular. This is NOT good enough. Travelled 20+ miles. Said they would try to fit me in in-between booked in clients but that I would have to wait but waited a long time then left. In this day and age appointments only I ask you!!!

I was very pleased with my first visit today. Staff were so helpful. It was great to get my feet properly measured. I purchased three pairs of shoes and will be buying more in the future. The shoes are so comfortable, I want to dance and skip in them! A lovely experience all round, thank you ladies 😀

I bought a pair of shoes a couple of years ago. For about £80.00, I wore them less than 10 times. The leather split near left toe area and the lining around back on both shoes has worn away. I contacted the company for advice hoping they would assist me somehow and was very abruptly told to visit a cobbler.

Was wary after reading a previous review, thank god we didn't take any notice. Arrived for appointment with my Aunty to be met by a lovely, cheerful, friendly lady called Jo. The service was exceptional, Jo answered all our questions with ease and offered plenty of alternatives and solutions to the fitting sizes and designs that my Aunty liked. My Aunty came away with a pair of shoes and sandals very happy. Well done Jo, a credit to the company.

My shopping experience was very unpleasant we entered the small reception area. We arrived 15 mins late for a 45 min appointment at 11:30. Coming from Oxford to Northampton was a difficult journey due to traffic and weather constraints yesterday. Humble apologies given by us to telephone receptionist, who told us sarcastically we were "late" then again to our assistant No empathy from assistant, no introduction to herself or products. I pointed out we are new customers to extra wide fitting shoes. The initial foot sizing instruction was most unhelpful. It was not obvious you had to walk in backwards on to the chart on the floor.. Just a huff from Assistant which made Mum feel very stupid, indeed. I asked how experienced she had working with the shoes, she had 3 and half years. At first, I helped mum with putting shoes on as she broke a rib on Monday through ill fitting shoes! Which we mentioned was the reason for our trip. I thought the assistant was not helping with the fitting for the first couple of shoes due to covid. This was not the case, after a couple of pairs she unexpectedly started to help, luckily for us took over because I enquired about the sizing variance. Unfortunately she had limited knowledge with what stock was available that would fit Mum's size as she fluctuated between a V6 and V2 in their range of shoes or she just could not be bothered to share her knowledge. One of the pairs I choose did not stock the style, I tried to order from them but was told to go online! Sadly no offer of the product number, I asked twice for the these details. We tried 5 to 7 pairs because of the sizing difference. We were not demanding customers, we understood that we had limited time, we needed to ask questions only to understand the product. We were treated with hesitation and disdain. Then our time was up! the assistant was not prepared to get another shoe from the stockroom. Followed by a telephone call from upstairs to inform assistant that the other customer had arrived. We hurried with our purchase of three items. Was there another customer waiting in the corridor. No it was 12 o'clock, lunch time! A long painful frustrating journey. The upside, the shoes and slippers are comfortable so far. Looking forward to getting Mum out and about feeling confident in her new shoes to walk the 1.5 miles to town again, just as she usually does.

DB Shoes are the best wide fit shoes I have ever had. I have used them for years, and had many pairs of shoes and slippers from them and never had to return them they fit perfectly both shoes and slippers. They are comfortable and allow me to walk better due to the soft linings and the good fit. they would have five stars but they are expensive even with the vat removed for my swollen legs and feet., Note you don't pay vat on the widest fitting if you have swollen feet and legs, you must ask for the vat to be removed but they do show the price with and without vat. I recommend DB Shoes to all that need a extra wide fitting.

Bought 2 pairs of DB easy b wide-fitting sandals from a Cleveleys shop. They are both so hard underfoot as to be unwearable even with thick socks. Wore one pair for a couple of hours shopping today. They made the soles of my feet really sore. I never thought it was possible to be traumatized by a pair of sandals. But they made the soles of my feet so red and sore I can hardly bear to look at them again, yet alone wear them. £150 down the drain.

bought a pair of sandles from DB Shoes very uncomfortable made of cheap plastic material soles are so hard on feet they made my ankles swell. No wonder they were in a sale. My father went there once to buy some shoes and slippers the service was bad the lady who served us was not very helpful and my father spent over £150 in there, I think it was the same lady who served me there last week she was quiet offish gave me a blank face Wont be going there no more.
