This company is fine unless you need to claim. There are loads of other insurers available so I suggest you try them first. I am a pensioner who had an appliance insured through them which caused my electrics to trip. That was over a month ago. An electrician cannot sort the problem until the appliance is mended or replaced. The company employed by Home shield is whirlpool who came out and said that the part is unavailable so the machine is a write off. Since then I have not been able to get homeshield to help. They are now saying that because the machine is less than 5 years old they won't replace it. So folks oy insure old appliances with them.

Excellent customer service

I received a phone call from this company asking to speak to my wife. I told the caller she wasn't in and asked who was speaking. I was told it was home shield insurance about a home policy. I told the caller we were covered and was immediately cut off. NO good-by or thank you, just cut em off attitude, Very Very rude way to do business.
